# AdvisorPM > AdvisorPM is a portfolio management workstation for financial advisers. Advisers build rules-based models over any US-listed stock or ETF, run real client accounts against them, rebalance a drifted book to a custodian-ready trade file, harvest tax losses, read risk analytics, produce institutional fact sheets, and export an SEC/FINRA books-and-records compliance trail. Every decision is written to an append-only record, and the adviser approves every trade. ## Who it is for Any financial adviser who builds and runs their own models — independent RIAs, broker-dealer representatives, hybrids, and advisers on wirehouse or enterprise teams, from solo practitioners to larger firms — who want institutional-grade construction, rebalancing, tax management, reporting, and a compliance trail. It is not a robo-adviser; the adviser makes every investment decision. ## Core capabilities - Five model construction tracks, one per portfolio: Strategic (target weights, calendar and drift-band rebalancing), Optimized (risk-targeted mean-variance solver with noise-aware estimation), Momentum (transparent moving-average and momentum rules), Technical (support/resistance from swing pivots), and Adaptive (a volatility-tuned signal engine that steps positions to cash when the trend breaks). - Client accounts and households (taxable, IRA, Roth, trust, joint) holding real shares and dollars, with drift measured against the assigned model on live prices. - Dollar-and-share rebalancing that is cash-aware, tax-lot-aware, and wash-safe across the household, routed through one approval queue. - Position download via a direct nightly custodian feed (Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, or Altruist) on the firm's own credentials, with a custodial CSV export as a manual fallback. - Trade-file export as a custodian-ready CSV or FIX file. - Tax-loss harvesting: nightly lot scanning, household-wide 61-day wash-sale checking, an economics gate (estimated tax savings net of costs), IRS netting economics, and mandate-preserving replacement selection. - Integrated backtesting and a full risk panel: a 1-99 risk score, volatility, Sharpe, Sortino, VaR, drawdown comparison, and historical stress tests. - Institutional fact sheets (shareable tearsheets) and a charting workbench from 1-minute bars to monthly. - An append-only, timestamped audit trail across theses, versions, proposals, approvals, trades, exports, overrides, and liquidity reviews. - One-click books-and-records export for any scope and date range: a paginated, print-ready PDF plus a CSV/JSON bundle, framed under SEC Rule 204-2, with performance shown net of fees. - Advisory fee preview: tiered schedules with household breakpoints and an estimated quarterly fee. ## Boundaries and honest limits - AdvisorPM does not place trades at a custodian. It produces a custodian-ready trade file; the adviser hands it to the custodian and places the trades. It does not route or execute orders. - AdvisorPM does not give legal, tax, or investment advice. - AdvisorPM does not file anything with the SEC and does not guarantee compliance. It organizes and exports the adviser's own records. - The liquidity classification is a data-driven estimate from trading volume, not an official Rule 22e-4 determination. - Backtested and short-history performance is hypothetical, is labeled as such, and is not an actual track record. Past performance does not guarantee future results. - The advisory fee tool is a preview; it does not debit fees or file with a custodian. ## Key URLs - Home: https://advisorpm.com - Sign in: https://advisorpm.com/login - Sign up: https://advisorpm.com/signup
